Place affects how we live, our culture, our values, our identity, and opportunities. Where we are affects the type of lifestyle that we are living especially in times such as the ones that we are living in today. Our culture and values are heavily influenced by our surroundings in that we absorb where we are located and if we cannot explore other places, we become the culture that we are surrounded with in places such as virtual meeting places and social media. Our opportunities are heavily influenced by where we are in that we make different connections with different people and network in different ways.

One artist that puts forth ideas about place and the new virtual reality is Kate Cooper. She has used CGI technology and made virtual media influencers mainly women from scratch and made them into models. These virtual beings are used as media influencers who get paid for advertisements, photographs, and things of that nature. Another virtual artist who focuses on 3-D virtual art is Elizabeth Edwards. She has made models to scale virtually in a way which you can see the entire 3-D art by simply clicking buttons and manipulating the virtual image. This type of art that she is doing is unlike any other that I have seen and gives a 2-D piece of art a whole third dimension in which you can almost experience the art itself.

There are many alternatives to the usual physical forms of place that exist including the virtual reality which is doing that we are currently using for a lot of school, work, and even life. Things like conference rooms such as Zoom and Skype have become our new reality in which we all meet up, but they can be made much better by adding features that have to do with the different activities that one can do. A sense of Place can and has adapted to COVID and other viruses by allowing us to meet up in an alternative mode, and get work done well staying safe. These alternative methods can adapt to Gen-Z and millennials in the 21st-century by expanding into different variations of themselves in order to fit our needs depending if we are just meeting up to talk to friends or doing work. The Digital Nomad is far from what a Baby Boomer is because the modern day Digital Nomad is working from any place including from home and gets more freedom than other workers did.

Paragraph 4 — Conclusions — summarize your findings and describe your vision for place in the 21st century. Describe America (or the country of your choice) in 2024. In 2050. Describe how you personally expect to navigate place during the next year of pandemic isolation. Describe how you would like to experience place in your life and career in the years after your graduation from LBSU.

My vision for a place in the 21st-century is somewhere where people can choose whether they would like to be more distanced and closer virtually or close in real lifeMy vision for a place in the 21st-century is somewhere where people can choose whether they would like to be more distanced and closer virtually or close in real life. I do not believe that we will go back to business as usual in the way that we had before because our needs have shifted and our eyes have opened to the faults of our society. I believe America will grow by 2024 and hopefully have healthcare for all because in this pandemic Gen- Z has seen how we all need to help each other and how not having universal healthcare has resulted in the death of millions at this point. I believe in 2050 it is going to be almost uninhabitable if we are going to continue in the direction that we are going towards right now which is increasing global warming and having more fires and higher temperatures than ever beforeI believe in 2050 it is going to be almost uninhabitable if we are going to continue in the direction that we are going towards right now which is increasing global warming, and having more fires and higher temperatures than ever before. I hope that I am able to navigate this pandemic in the most normal way that I can and in the way that I have been but I do hope that CSULB goes back to normal and is cleaner and safer for allI hope that I am able to navigate this pandemic in the most normal way that I can and in the way that I have been but I do hope that CSULB goes back to normal and is cleaner and safer for all in my two final upcoming years.
