Zine ! Which mask would these historical figures wear during the COVID-19 Pandemic?

The inspiration for my zine was the current COVID-19 pandemic and my major which is History. My goal was to try to depict what kind of mask the different historical figures would be wearing in the modern day situation because masks have become highly personalizable and say a lot about a person.

I chose to design a mask for 6 very important figures: Alexander Hamillton, Martin Luther King Jr., Cleopatra, Albert Einstein, Gandhi, and Cesar Chavez.

I was successful in my own way considering my art skills and historical knowledge. The zine as a whole is straightforward and organized in the way I envisioned it, but having more materials to work with would have given a deeper perspective to the end result. It would be better to get more 3D materials so that the mask features would more accurately represent what these important figure’s personalities I was trying to get through in the designs. Another idea for a zine which I was considering was different kinds of masks based off of shows I have gotten a chance to watch during this pandemic.
